Amante is now closed for winter, we will be back in spring 2025!
There’s a saying that “The sun sees your body. The moon sees your soul”, and at Amante, when the moon is full, there’s truly no better place for a soul-stirring experience.
Far off the beaten track and nestled in cliffs that tower above the Sol d’en Serra beach, Amante is blessed with one of the island’s most strikingly private spots from which to appreciate nature’s spectacular monthly event.
Dining al fresco when la luna is at its most resplendent isn’t just a treat for the tastebuds (you’re at Amante, after all) but for all six senses.
Because while during the day it’s natural for your eyes to devour the joyful azure of the Mediterranean from our secluded perch, come nighttime, an unspoken reverence descends, and the sea transforms into something darker and more mysterious – like the neverending surface of a vast, black sapphire. And when the full moon rises to take its place at the pinnacle of the scene? Well then, the enchantment is complete.
Perhaps it’s just us, but something else happens when the moon is at its brightest. Conversations over cocktails fizz with excitement, lovers gaze at each other with renewed hope, and things just feel altogether more… special.
Happily, ‘special’ is our speciality, and you can rest assured that our award-winning culinary team is always trying to rise to the occasion too – and dazzle you with the same intensity.
From luxuriously creamy lobster rice to Josper-fired clams and red king prawns, the sea’s bounty remains the focal point of our menu – but certainly isn’t the only thing on offer. Carefully-sourced seasonal ingredients are in abundance on the menu at Amante, whether that’s the Iberico cured ham in our popular entrée or the rich Ibizan olive oil that goes into almost every dish.
So whether you’re seeking a romantic night out, or simply to soak up the unique atmosphere with friends, we hope to see you during full moon nights. An exquisite gastronomical journey – and a great deal of magic – awaits.
